X_X Ophelia Lederer One's Personality: Cynical, geeky. History: Nothing too exciting or tragic. Likes: Dr. Pepper, but I don't think I'll be mentioning that anywhere in the comic. Hates: the world Comments: Got her first name from Shakespeare. Then I noticed that there are a bunch of non-fiction books about "Ophelias." @_@ Supposedly Hamlet's Ophelia represents some sort of teenage girl archetype or something. Lawerence Hetfield One's Personality: Quiet, gloomy. History: He's been in and out of mental hospitals for the past couple of years. His best (only?) friend is Jethro. Likes: weird occult books, drawing Hates: the dark Comments: I always named the main character of Persona 1 'Lawrence.' It's just a name that I like, I guess. Blake Philurec One's Personality: Serious, distant. History: Extremely Caucasian kid from a lower-middle class single-parent family. His basketball-playing abilities earned him a scholarship of some sort. An accident that damaged his right eye and scapula (shoulderblade) cut his basketball career short. Now he's in track or something. Since the accident he's become rather religious. Trying to find a reason behind it all, that kind of stuff. He's not totally annoying, I swear to god. Likes: his family, fire (?) Hates: unrepentant sinners Comments: Blake is an odd name. It means both 'black' and 'white' in old English. It's fitting, I guess. @_@ I don't know why his 'History' is so in-depth (in comparison to the other characters). @_@ Jethro McCoy One's Personality: easygoing, kind, paranoid, eccentric (obviously) History: Jethro's a redneck by choice. It's kind of hard to explain... He dropped out of school, and is currently employed in his Uncle's gun shop. He's living in a used winnebago until he can afford a trailer. His parents are yuppies, and are understandably upset with their weird son. Oh, and his real name is Julian. :) Likes: Guns, Weekly World News Hates: the government, black helicopters, UFOs Comments: My little sister used to tell me about one of her classmates, a nerdy little Asian kid that loved guns and wanted to be called Jethro. I thought that was adorable. ^_^ His outfit is inspired by some guy I saw at the 4th of July fireworks show. I couldn't tell if he was trying to make a statement about patriotism or America, or if he was just some crazy person. I think it's funny that he's the happiest character in my dumb story. XD
